The European Open 2024 reaches its climax today with the final at the Lotto Arena. Roberto Bautista Agut (photo) and Jiri Lehecka will face off for the title after impressive wins in the semifinals. It promises to be an exciting match between the experienced Spaniard and the young Czech, both in top form.

Bautista Agut secured his 23rd ATP final by defeating France’s Hugo Gaston (ATP-77) in straight sets yesterday. He made history as the first Spanish finalist ever in Antwerp.

Lehecka triumphed in a three-set battle against American Marcos Giron (ATP-31). The Czech impressed with his powerful serve and determination, earning a spot in his third career ATP final.

In their head-to-head encounters, Bautista Agut leads 3-1, but Lehecka won their most recent match in Beijing.

Update! Bautista Agut wins European Open 2024! Roberto Bautista Agut put the 2024 European Open to his name today. In a high-class final, he took it in two sets from the fifth set leader, Czech Jiri Lehecka (ATP-33). In the doubles, victory went to Austrians Erler and Miedler.
